
The iPhone 18 Pro delivers significantly faster charging than its predecessor, while battery endurance results vary sharply by test method. A maximum-brightness video streaming test measured just under 10 hours, against 15 hours 41 minutes for the iPhone 17 Pro, yet standardised lab tests and Apple's own rating put the new model modestly ahead. Charging improved substantially, reaching 53 percent in 15 minutes on a 65W adapter and a full charge in 60 minutes on a 70W charger. The A20 Pro chip built on TSMC's 2nm process, paired with a vapor chamber cooling system, maintains stable performance under sustained load, and the 211-gram body reflects hardware additions including a four-stage physical variable aperture camera.
